How could she out him as gay is more like it, that’s a big no-no.
She doesn’t seem like a friend at all, or she’d be fine with him having a new friend. Instead it’s “I saw him first” and “I have feelings for him”, none of which entitles her to anything at all. Frankly I’m a bit tired of seeing it normalized that having feelings for someone means that you’re allowed to do anything. All you’re allowed is to tell the person and see if they reciprocate. If not, then that’s that.
You can try to stick around and see if they change their mind but if they won’t have it, then you got to let it go, and you sure as hell shouldn’t do anything to intervene with their lives outside of friendship.
I don’t care if they’re still kids. This should be taught early. Respect the people you like (and all people for the most part). Respect them as people, not objects for your affection.
