This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which the narrator explains that he has been waiting for the next page of the manga to be drawn. He asks his brother to bring him the page and then they will say no more about the manga. This is the first request he has ever made from his brother, and he asks that he be pardoned for being too soft on his brother. He also asks that the manga of his brother be brought to him. He says that he will not listen to his brother's request, as it is too inconvenient for him. The narrator tells his brother that the previous manga was approved by his superiors, but that the next one will not be as satisfying. He tells him that he is naive to think that the work was enough to satisfy him, and that he should draw another manga that satisfies him. When the narrator asks him what he will draw for his next manga, he says he wants to draw a duck
