About This Chapter
The scene opens with the manager of the establishment asking the young man if he can be "a little gentler" the next time he sees him. The young man says he'll be "careful" next time. He asks the manager if he has any alcohol that prevents him from waking up. The manager says he doesn't have any, but then he asks if he's "out of money" or if he just wants to "pay the bill" . He's all, "I'm not out of money, I'm just not in a good mood to go shopping" , and then he says, "You alky, madman ! Are you listening to her at all ? Is he not angry ?" . Then the manager asks if she's listening to him at all, and she replies, "all I need you for is a waste !" . The girl asks where she'll sleep tonight, and the manager says she can't sleep with him, because she was just "in the wrong room." .
