Back at the apartment, we find the director asleep. He wakes up to find that there's a lot of leftover food in the refrigerator. He decides to use the leftover food to make porridge, which he plans to eat at home. He asks the girl if she'd like to go shopping with him. The girl says yes, and the director asks if she needs to buy more cloth. She's happy that the girl can help her pick up a new dress. She tells the girl that her boyfriend made the dress, and that she can sell it if she wants to. The director is pleased that she's wearing the new dress while they're out shopping, and she says she'll help the girl sell it for a good price. She also says that she doesn't mind if the girl has to pay for it, as long as it's unique. She says that if she wanted to marry a boy, that's what she would do, too. She thinks that if the director likes a girl of the same gender as him, then he might be attracted to her as well. He has a daughter, she says, and he can show his love
