The crybaby is at the mercy of the devil, and she begs him to listen to her. He's cold, and her fingers are cold. She promises to take a bath, but says she's worried about him and wants to know what's going on. He says he's having fun seeing her cry, and he says mean things about her. She says she doesn't like the idea that someone else can see her side of him that she can't see. Still, she says, she'd be happier if she could just be with him.
