It's the morning, and the narrator is getting ready to go to work. He's worried about what's going to happen to the twins, since they live so close to each other. He asks the narrator to come in and talk to him. The narrator doesn't want to get into a fight with the twins because they're so close, but he does want to talk to the narrator about his life. He tells the narrator that he can put his bag wherever he wants, and that he's smart enough to know that the twins live alone, but dumb enough to think that they live with him. When the narrator asks if she thinks she's living with him, the narrator shakes her head and says that she didn't do anything to him just because she was free. She says she just wanted to see him. She asks him to invite her to his house, and he says that's not enough, so he kisses her and promises to do anything for her. She sigh
