The narrator laments the fact that it has been just over a week since he began working with Hiroshi on his menu. He feels that he has been carrying on as if they were "friends with Dob twitch" , and that the more he does things like this, the more it makes him shudder. He thinks that once he and Hiroshi got bored of each other, they would have sex, and he worries that this would end their relationship. He decides that he will stay up all night to work on the menu, and then he will go home.
