The chapter opens with Hiroyuki's entrance, and he's happy to be back at work. He's feeling a little hot and wants to get back to his usual routine. He asks if there's anything he can do to make it go away. Hiroyuki tells him to lock the door so no one will come in and disturb them, and Hiroyuki agrees. He tells Hiroyuki to go ahead and do whatever he wants with his "weird fixation" , and then he tells him that if he doesn't stop, he'll end up like a "wizard" . That's right, he says, if you're a virgin, you can become "a wizard" with magic if you stay virgin until 30. That means that if you want to do this with your beloved, you'll have to give up on it. And if you don't give up, it'll be painful, and you won't be able to do it with him anymore. So, he tells her, she should just give up. And then she asks if Hiroyuki is okay, and if he is earnest, or just stubborn, or whatever. She asks why he picked her, and she wonders if it's because he likes her, or something. She feels like she's being picked on, and so she locks the door and goes to get dressed.
