It's been a while since the last chapter, so we're back to see what's up with the protagonist. He's in the middle of trying to figure out how to escape from the research institute, and he's met up with a new guy named Linhe. Linhe's a newcomer to the underground world, and Linhe wants to know if they're going to take a test to see if he can make it to the top of the heap. He tells the protagonist that the test is still being run, and that Linhe is the only survivor. The test is called the "Advancement Test," and the winner will advance to the next level, which is called "Alpha Level 1.
