The guys are getting married, and the narrator is shocked. He's a virgin, so he assumes they're the same person. Turns out they aren't. The narrator says that he's been friends with the guys since he was a student at uni, and they've been working together on a ship together ever since. They've even been taking care of each other since his grandpa died in a car accident during a vacation.
