Em is back in bed, and he tells her that he's been working on his "new super stunner" . He's worried that she won't be able to handle it, but Em assures him that she'll be fine. Em says that she just wanted to be a super hero, and that she doesn't want to take anything away from her mom. She's just worried that they're going to kill her. Em tells her to get out of the way, because she's in the woods, with a guy named Ray. She tells him that her brother, Teddy, is hurt, and they've been refused permission to keep him. They're not going to let her keep him, Em says. She wants to get her brother's blood, but she can't find it anywhere. She says that they were supposed to meet the next day, but they didn't show up. She blames her brother for killing her, and she says that everyone knows that. She calls him a "piece of trash," and he calls her a "tugger," and she calls him "a piece of trash." She tells Em to go home, because they need help.
