In this short scene, the demon bride tells Roxane that she has been sealed as his "prey blood" . She tells him to think more about his self and not to go so far as to protect him. She says that she used to be a human, but when she became a demon, she lost everything. She feels like she saved him that day, but she doesn't know who she is. She asks Roxane if she's okay, and he says that he felt like he saved her that day with his smile. He tells her that he's going to give Roxane the "coup de grace" for saving him. He says that his mother and father are gone, and that he blames Roxane's loneliness on the fact that she was brought up against her will by her brother. He adds that he used to have her by his side, but that he started falling in love with him as they spent time together. He asks if they were in the ship together, and she says no, but he says he'll never forgive her if she just died.
