After Lin's death, he buried him in a tomb. Now that he's dead, he can't help anyone. He's just an ordinary guy. The crows won't come for him again, he says, because there's "a new god" out there. He wants to beat up the new god, but the crows don't want to kill him. He tells the story of the night before, when he used up all of his divine powers, and the crows didn't kill him because he was a mortal. Now he has to learn to be a new god.
