The chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which Caio tells his sister that he had to go to school early because he had an emergency surgery the night before. Caio asks his sister to eat first, and then he tells her that he was going to go out for a walk and that she should come back and finish her meal. She tells him that she had told him not to walk on the road while he was eating, and that he should be careful when he was on the bicycle. She then tells Caio that the roads were slippery, and Caio says that it would be better if she did not ask why she was going out so early. He tells her not to worry about it, as he has told her many times not to do so. She apologizes, and she says that she just woke up from her nap. She asks where her basketball practice is, and the gym teacher says that they are going to practice there. She fumbles the teacher's key to get into the equipment room, and they grab a basketball from there. The chapter ends with Caio saying that she is so beautiful that she wants to hug her.
