As the scene opens, we're introduced to a new character, a young woman who's about to give birth to a baby. She's so excited to be a mom that she's worried that the baby will die before she can get it. We're not exactly sure what to make of her, but we do know that she has a crush on the baby's father, a man named Jim. We also learn that Jim's mother is a big fan of the baby, so she'd be happy to see her son grow up. The baby, however, isn't going to get any younger anytime soon.
