One of the students, Martius, tells us that he thinks he heard the shooting at the school, but he doesn't know if it was a hoax or a real one. Martius says that one of his friends went to get some candy, and he mistook it for a gun. He was arrested, and Martius blames that on the fact that he's one of the "phoenix kids" who can't get out of the school without getting in trouble.
