In this short scene, Lee Seonbae, the father of Eunbaenim, tells his son-in-law that his family has not had a good relationship with him because he has been open with a "good person" and has lived in a "small house" for most of his life. He tells Seonbeinam that he is going to "cum" and that he has not even touched the front of the house. He then tells him that he should not have been drinking because he is already feeling the effects of drinking when he touches the back of his body. He says that he does not want to watch a happy occasion like the 70th birthday celebration of his family because it looks "so fake to me" . He adds that he cannot believe that the family has reconciled and that they have children. He also says that his father is a sentimental person and that this is the first time he has ever been in a situation like this. He asks if he should drop him off at the humanities department of his college and then asks why he did not pick up his phone call. He explains that he and Eunbae have been living together for many years because he feels sorry for his father, who lives with a man he calls "lee seon bae." He then asks if she is engaged to cha jeeung, and she mumbles that she is. She then says that she has been caught up in a mistake and that she will not tell him what school he is attending
