About This Chapter
In this short scene, Henry tries to convince himself that he's done with the prank. He tells himself that if he had untied him, he would have run away like he did the last time. He's not angry, he says, because he realizes that he deserves to be beaten. He wants to apologize, but he doesn't want to apologize in front of anyone. Henry says that since he is the heir to the throne, he'll be able to get married anyway. He says that it's a bad idea to let people know that he did something like that, since he will be the heir and therefore get married. Henry tells Henry that he is a child and that he knows nothing. He tries to get him to listen to him by saying that he thinks he is just a child who is happy to see him again after so many years. He also says that his eyes appear in his dreams every night. He promises that he won't leave him, even if he says that he wants to run away.
