In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Martin. He is a member of the elite group of androids who have been created by the mandarin to destroy the human race. Martin is furious at his fellow androids for wasting their time and money on "amorous androids" when they could be doing more important work. He tells us that he and Martin are going to go to war against the "superior human race" and destroy it.
