About This Chapter
The Governess tells the boys that he can feel their pain and despair, but his brain does not flinch. He tells them that he will grant them the emotions they desire. He says that he thinks this might be their main target, and that they should destroy it at his will. He asks if they have found a host, and they answer that they have, but he says that they must kill it now, because the target just shoots it. He wonders why he would do such a thing to himself, and the Governess says that it must be because he is desperate for power. She asks if he knows that azazel is taking him over, and he answers that he does not. She wonders if he has any thoughts, and she says he probably does not even realize that he is taking over. She says that his brain is not working the way he wants it to. He wants to believe he is still a person, even if he is a survivor. She tells him that the court has sentenced him to death
