He notices that his son is learning how to fly and that his daughter is already able to fly. The helmet makes him feel like he is flying and he wonders if he can hear all the voices of nature. He also notices that once he puts the helmet on, he cannot leave it on for more than an hour. He wonders if the helmet will allow him to return to his home planet. He imagines that he will sell the helmet at a local flea market.
