The ants attack again, and Lu blames himself for their attack. He says that he was too careless with his sword-fighting skills, and that he plans to test his sword again on Lu. He is worried that he will be injured, but he is confident that he can still defeat the enemy. He asks his goat scholar to help him restrain the enemy, and he is amazed that he would be able to do so even if he were seriously injured. He thinks that if the enemy were his bodyguard, he could still defeat him, but then he realizes that the enemy is using the same soul-freezing technique that Lu used on him long ago. He wants to capture the enemy and skin him alive.
