In this short scene, Ruchi begins to narrate the story of his friendship with Ruchi's older brother, Ryoichi. Ruchi tells Ruchi that he and Ruchi were bullied by other students and that Ruchi has suffered from a bug bite and a bruise on his neck. When Ruchi asks Ruchi to meet him at the local amusement park, he is interrupted by Ruchi, who tells him that he is off to his part-time job and that he has not heard from Ruchi in four days. He then tells him about his grandmother, who has recently passed away and who has asked him to give Ruchi a present.
