About This Chapter
The next morning, the Governess tries to figure out what's going on with her husband. He's still mad, but he's also a changed man. The Governess realizes that she can't stay away from her husband, even if she wanted to, because he'll always be mad at her. She decides to treat her husband formally, and treat him formally after she's done with him. She doesn't have anything else to say. She's been criticized for her lame pick-up line, and people around her have been criticizing her for it, but she can think of nothing else to do. She takes a picture of a sparrow, which is a compliment. She says that she was known for fast-editing and work speed, but that she lost it all when she got scammed. The only time she took a picture was during an on-site inspection. She tells him to try using a phone instead of a camera, because she can teach him how to use it. He laughs and says that this is fun, because either way it led him to him. Either way, he says, he needs to know the situation so that he can make a plan to get out of it.
