In this chapter, the wet mice discuss their relationship with Yon, who has sent them on a "wild goose chase" . The wet mice tell Yon that they are not in love with each other, and that he is not interested in "temporarily" or "flirting" relationships. Yon tells them that he has grown tired of them, and he tells them to think of it for him. He tells Yon that he warned him, but that he was jealous of him. Yon thanks him for warning him, and tells him that he will see him tomorrow. Yon says that he knows what it is like to be hurt, so he thinks he couldnt help himself. He says he is glad he could talk with Yon today, because he wants to tell her something. He wants her to touch him, if he ever feels down or hurt, and if he feels like he can't do so, he wants him to tell him how he feels. He asks her to let him love her, but she says that she is a fool, too, because she has a feeling that something is about to change.
