The narrator tells us that he found out that Yuchi wasn't around for him, and that he was the only one who didn't know about it. He was the one who was hurt most, and he couldn't figure out how to get over it, so he kept asking him about it, but he never found out. He wishes he could play with Yuchi, because he wouldn't have to deal with the pain he's in, but if he never asks him, he'll never be able to get out of his slump. He kisses Yuchi before telling him how he feels, and the kiss is thoughtless, even for him. The narrator feels that he has to hear Yuchi's side of the story, and so he asks him why he hasn't told him anything. Yuchi tells him that he tried to tell him something, but that it felt like his business. He says that he needs to figure out what's going on for himself, and if he can't, then he can always quit. He wants to know how he looks in the mirror, and when he brought it up, he realized that it would hurt him. So he fell for Yuchi again.
