This chapter opens with the narrator complaining that he's too full of himself to be useful to uchiumi sano. He's worried about what he'll say to tama if he doesn't come home. He also worries about what will happen to his ears if he stays away from her. Aww, that's a lot of complaining to do, right? . The narrator then goes on to say that he has run out of his medicine, which is supposed to treat his allergic rhinitis. . He says he'd rather be spending time with tama than waiting for him to come home, but he can't stand the thought of waiting any longer.
