In this chapter, the protagonist returns from the hospital to find that the monsters and bosses have disappeared from the dungeon. He has applied for a loan and spent a great deal of money on new weapons. He fears that if he cannot defeat any monsters, he will be unable to pay off the loan and will be forced to sell his weapons and props to other players. The president of the player's association, Wu Ke'er, gives the protagonist a gold membership card. The protagonist's sister, who is also a member of the association, criticizes the president for giving the protagonist only a gold card. She also criticizes Mr. Zhuang for having a daughter who was adopted by a disaster. She says that if she had known earlier, she would not have attended the meeting. She tells the protagonist that if the meeting were to start later, he would be afraid that the building of the players' association would be demolished. He says that he is afraid that his guild will soon be ruined. He tells the story of how one month ago, a group of overseas players reached the island. This bastard, he says, stirred up the anger of three fastidious women in the association in just one meeting.
