In this short scene, we learn that Hiroshi has returned to his job at the company. Hiroshi tells us that he's happy to see his old friend back. He's excited to be working on the next stage of the company's development, which is supposed to take place in a few months. After all, he says, it's been a long time since he'd been away from home. He also tells Hiroshi that he has found out that he and Kishida are in love, thanks to Hiroshi's misinterpretation of their feelings for each other. He says he'll be a rookie for now, though, because he wants to learn more about the company and its products. He wants to be a part of the intellectual property protection of the robots that they develop. He hopes to be able to protect his inventions with Hiroshi, and he hopes that he can play games using his camera one day.
