In this chapter, we learn that Caixin has left early for work, and that he will return later to pick her up. When Caixin arrives, he welcomes her home with open arms. He invites her to stay with him in his new mansion, which has just been bought. Caixin tells her that he and his daughter will be the only ones in the house. He asks Caixin to tell him where she can find her daughter, and Caixin promises to do so.
