About This Chapter
In this chapter, the protagonist, phoenix, is in the middle of a conversation with the police officer, makuma. He's worried that the police are going to catch him, but he doesn't want to be the first to be caught by the infra-terrorists. He tells the police that he's going to go to the entrance of the new elevator, where they're going to find him. He also tells them that the victim of the crime has undergone a lot of surgery, and that his birthplace on his birth certificate is a lie. The police officer assures him that they know who he is, and they'll be glad to help him. They're also going to offer him a job as a hitman, and he'll pay them for it. He wants to be able to spit in the face of the man who killed him. The cops leave, and the protagonist tells them to go back to base. He says that his children have run off with some prostitutes, but that he won't tell them where they are. They go back into the police station, where a policeman arrests them. The protagonist tells the policeman that they don't have any cooperation with other planets and that they have no tolerance for foreigners meddling in their affairs.
