About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the old ways of communicating with the stars are no longer in use. It's just a matter of getting the right message to the right person at the right time. For example, if you're in the middle of a battle, you might want to send a message to someone who's in a better position to see what's going on. Or maybe you'd like to check out the inner workings of a woman's soul. We're not sure what that would be, but it's a good idea. We also learn that Portia has lost consciousness three times in a row, so maybe she's delirious or something. Portia's not crazy, but pisaak's crazy. Portia doesn't know what to do with herself. She's got to go back to the battle, pronto. She tells us that her ship has been hidden in a ravine, and she needs to find the wreckage and get it out of the way. She also needs to get Portia to come with her.
