The next morning, the dom and filippi are back in the castle. The dom says that he's not worried about anything. He's just been having a bad dream. He doesn't know what's going on, but he hopes it'll all work out eventually. He wants to be able to deliver a speech to the prince, and he wants to make sure that the prince isn't rude to him. The prince is a brute, he says, and the whole dream was idiotic. He says that the whole thing will teach him to let his self be charmed. He also says that Vernere is locked up in the workshop all morning, and that he will join them later.
