The narrator tells us that he's late for work, and that he lied to save his sister's life. He's worried that if she gets caught, he'll be blamed, but he doesn't know exactly where they're going. He tries to convince himself that it's his fault that she's in danger, but the narrator is too scared to tell him. The narrator tries to figure out where the gang is, but can't find the address on the map. He tells the narrator to get out of the way, and the narrator tells him to follow him to the gang's house. The gang is preparing to welcome the narrator, but when he didn't show up, the master of the house got a little angry. The chapter ends with the narrator trying to convince his brother to stop torturing him.
