Objectively, the new style looks prettier, the faces are more detailed, and the shading got better, but the problem is that the characters look stiff, I can barely understand what's happening, because I can't understand the movements their trying to draw. I'm an artist myself, and this has happened to me in the past, you get better at one thing, you start lacking at the other, I get it. Honestly, I love this story and would love to continue reading it, because I got really invested with thw characters and the world, but the style is making reading really hard, I would suggest taking a little more time of, try to improve more and we'll be waiting here to keep reading!!!

Why do people say the author is over reacting, maybe a bit but they likely have other stressful things happening rn. And the Criticism some of yall are giving is just you being rude, did yall not learn about Constructive criticism? Saying "The art style changed and now im finding it hard to tell the characters apart, so it harder for me to understand the story, (possibly making a suggestion on what they could change like) could you try to make the hair style more distinctive or focus on the face a bit more?" That is help for in sted of just saying you dont like the new art style. There's ways to say things nicely. Going back to ways the author could have maybe done better, maybe put at the beginning that the art style changed, instead of putting it on hold again they could have made a notice saying something like "I won't be changing the art style, I will be refining it but not changing", I do feel they felt rushed to put it out sooner rather than later so they should have given more attention to it. If yall have criticism against me I'm open to it <3

I don't mind changes in art but I literally can't recognise anyone! Both art styles are nice but I think I need to go back and write a list of who people are. Goro has been a bit whitewashed too which is my only actual negative.

Honestly really disappointed in this decision. The haters were going to stop reading anyway so this hiatus does nothing to them. All this does is punish the supporters who can’t afford Patreon.

The art is pretty either way. However it’s a bit odd reading a story and it feels like the characters aren’t the characters…if that makes sense. Definitely some getting used to. I don’t think the art was awful to begin with, every story has its own original look and vibe to it. I hope they don’t change it too much.

Sorry to make another comment but at this point it’s disappointing how this situation is being handled by the author. Yes, it is more then acceptable to take time for yourself especially in time of need, yes it was announced at the end of season one the art style was changing. Did some people react a bit harsh? Yes! Was there also tons of people who liked and supported? Yes! I can understand it can be frustrating and difficult to get hate, and if you need to take time for yourself that’s okay. But punishing a whole group of people because of a few people who were out of the loop and hateful? That’s childish. Also I don’t care what the author says but i literally saw no updates except on Patreon until the last chapter was released Patreon, I looked at both Instagram and X multiple times. But now after somethings been said about it posts on instagram stories are flooding in. You cannot expect people to continue to support or choose to support paying 5$ a month to get the chapters, not in this economy that is literally the price of the one subscription 1 have. And honestly that’s probably the case for a lot of people right now. But anyways this could have been handled a lot better in so many ways. Like Patreon members being rude and crude to way more than the people actually hating, in INKR and on the Patreon chats. Better communication about hiatus and other things and delays changes in releases, and now allowing one side of your audience to bully eachother, I know you can’t stop everything but enabling it does no good not to mention it’s literally no one’s fault wring information was giving about the season 2 release. Especially with how often things were changing. And not making rash decisions after it was released for less than a week. Allow people to adjust and I can almost guarantee the hate and even constructive criticism would have stopped by the second release. In the end it is the authors and publishers decision how things are handled. Just wish this was handled a lot differently and less petty.

Hope you feel better. Praying for you. Love the story and the art, I always look forward to see more of the story, scene, art and chapters. No matter what other people say, they don't know anything and it's their loss for not loving or liking this comic that you are making. For some people it's difficult to understand the joy, passion, the hard work, and many other things that others go through to make a comic with art. Some do know the feeling better and others don't. But that doesn't mean that they can hurt you and your hard working comic art that you do or any other authors make. Making things, becoming creative can make you create to do and show the world. So please don't let those people who are negative drown you down to what you are good at, to wanting to show other, to to show your feelings or stories (fantasy or real life). The only thing that is important is your feelings, your health and those who support you the most for doing what you love the most.
