Seongju asks Kim to tell him the story of the day before. He's worried that he's going to find out the truth about his father's past, and he wants to know why he hasn't told him the whole story. Kim says that she's the one who has told him all about it, and she doesn't want to hear anything about it. She tells him to stop bugging her, and then she tells him that she heard that Kim is trying to leave the house. Kim is shocked, and says that he heard everything, and that means that she did something pointless. She's sorry, but she still wants to run away, because she can't bear the thought of being good enough for Kim. She says that once Kim gets mad, she'll be unable to say anything. She has no choice, she says, but to run.
