When Tohru returns home, he tells the others that he is tired and wants to go for a walk. He tells them that it is not like he will always be around to save his ass, even if they are both students at the same university. He asks them to delay dinner for a moment so that he can talk to his friend about something at the university. When he asks if she is crying, she says that she is, and he promises to come back in a minute to ask her if she wants to ask him. He says that he has lost control of his emotions when something goes wrong and he has to take care of his friend. He then asks if he is the one who has been too busy to take him home, and she replies that she has been. She then asks him if he has told Mr. Kobayashi about the incident with the sleeping girl. He replies that he did not, and that it was Mr. Takakura's fault. She says that if he had not told her, she would have had to go to sleep with someone else. She tells him that she was worried about her friend, and when she went to sleep, she gave her some other things to think about. She asks him to cook dinner for her, but he refuses to do so, saying that he had to cut the stew meat that he was eating. He also asks her if Mr. Watanabe ate with her before. She replies that it has nothing do with her, and asks if it has anything to do with him.
