Welcome to the world of the undead. We're introduced to a new character, a young man named Nika. He's a friend of ours who's been living with the undead for a while now. Nika tells us that she's glad to be in the world, because it's nice to be dead. She's also glad that the undead aren't eating her, because she'd rather die than be eaten by a ravenous beast. She thanks him for saving her daughter's life.
