In this chapter, Rako tells us that he's looking for "serious love" in a manga by Rako Rako. He's 18 years old and has just moved to the big city to start his college career. Rako is a country bumpkin from a small town in Japan who's been living in a big city for the past year. He hates the country bumpkins because they're stuck in their small town ways and don't deserve to be respected. He doesn't want to be like them either.
