The next morning, the narrator walks out of the house. He's never disobeyed his parents or teachers, and he's very obedient. He wants to know if there's a pig in his life, but he can't figure out who it is. The narrator asks if dirt tastes good, and the sharpshooter tells him that it's "covered in dirt." The narrator goes on to say that he thinks both of them have "stepped on sh*t
