The five vox have to find logan. He's hiding in an alleyway, and the enemy is trying to kill him. They need to find him ASAP. He has a message for the girls: don't worry, he's got a plan. He tells them to listen to their little boyfriend, swat, because he'll be the one to get them killed. He also tells them not to be rude to him, because after all, he brought along a friend of theirs . They're not hiding, he says, and they should listen to him. He says he can do anything he wants, and that he feels like he can kill this thing. They still have no clue how to kill the thing, he tells them. He knows they're all in the same boat, and he knows that they've all got the same tailor, so he plans to wait for the day when he can punch them in the guts. He wonders where the girls' cave is, and she's throwing a fit. She doesn't want them, he thinks. He thinks these suits are going to last forever. He leaves the vox for the islands in the pacific south, where he thinks he can figure out all the information they have about the reticulists. The vox still needs a cool name, though, because they still need to figure out who they are and what their destinies are.
