Back at the shop, we find out that they've made it to the old city, thanks to the hints from the professor. The entrance is open, so they can go back to the shop. The professor tells them to go back immediately, but they can't, because there's still work to be done at the factory. They're all freaking out. The thunder is coming, and the ice on the ground has completely vanished. The kid's on his own now, and he's freaking out because he attacked his own.
