The 9 Lives

In this short scene, Orfeo tells the cat that he has been shot in the chest, and that he wishes he had not called the police. He says that if he had been killed, he would have escaped, but that he does not want to be a slave to anyone. He tells her that he cannot make her decisions for herself, because in this world, some are free and some are slaves.
