In this short scene, Seong-nam, a student at Yonsei University, meets up with Seok-hyun, a fellow student at the university's new student council meeting. The two exchange pleasantries about the upcoming academic year and about the fact that Seon-nam will be graduating from Yonsei in the spring of next year. They discuss a book called "The Interpretation of Color," which they have borrowed from the university library. Seung-nam returns the borrowed book, which he has brought with him from the library, and asks for a visit to the garden of Lee Doan, a friend of his from school. He is invited, but does not receive an invitation from Doan. When he asks Doan why he is not invited, Doan tells him that he is still waiting for a call from his friend. Seon, however, does not believe Doan's explanation, and he decides to run away from the book, knowing that he will not be able to fall in love until he is at least twenty.
