This chapter opens with a description of the body structure of a bonehead, who was one of the alchemists, but who joined the digital saurus. The bonehead tells the alchemist that he is now the leader of the ravers, and that he and the other ravers have met them before. The alchemist tells the bonehead that he has heard from his brother that the two of them are in the middle of a fight and that they are here to help him. The two ravers tell him that they have heard everything from the alchemist's brother, and they have come to help because they think it will be fun to bring them to him. They tell the alchemist they are there to help, and he tells them they are just "a bunch of fans" who are getting on his nerves. He tells them he has been watching through his drones, and now he wants to try his new drug. The drug is not scientifically tested, and the side effects are unknown. He says someone is interfering in his communication, so he needs to clean up the drugs from the streets. They are more than willing to help the alchemist, but he says he can see that rex has been getting slower. He then tells the story of the two men who have been waiting for him at the Riveslen, and how they have been offered a large sum of money by the two jesters
