Summary

A good, solid read! - Sex is hot (there's lots of it). Plot gets a little intense in quite a few places. - - Content Warnings, below: - - - There are looooaaaads of consent issues in here. Everything from compulsory sex work to essentially getting roofied. - The main couple's relationship is not particularly healthy, either. - - Fair amount of violence. Somebody gets shot. Somebody gets hit on the head hard enough to lose consciousness. Allusions are made to people that have been drugged then being robbed, beaten, and/or raped. More than one person is force-fed large amounts of an illegal drug. - ... This is NOT a light-hearted story, folks. - - - Spoiler below for the general mood (happy/tragic/bittersweet/etc....) of the ending: - - - I think this probably counts as a happy ending for all the important characters.
