I... am kinda curious... BUT! Apparently you have to buy the whole volume at once. That's a lot of coins to commit to for something I'm on the fence about :\

Sorry I'm late! I saw a squirrel and got distracted! (I'm about 75% through the volume, so this review is incomplete.)
-
This is, in fact, the full volume and has everything listed in the ToC.
-
It's quite good, too! Absolutely nothing like what I assumed it to be, considering the character designs and cover art.
-
It has kind of a melancholy vibe, w/o having any actual tragedy or true angst. And it's overall very sweet.
-
-
It's a lovely soft romance. 8/10
-
Would definitely recommend, if you have the Coins to buy it.

So, about the GL tag... I can't quite dispute it, but I also think it's misleading.
-
BOTH of the romantic parties involved seem to be men - we have seen them both outside of VR at this point. Then again, they have not outright stated anything about gender identities. And the way this is written, I would find it absolutely believable that the author might intend both characters to be MtF Trans (or some flavor of Not Cis, anyway), in a completely serious, non-offensive way.
-
Again, I'm not quite done with the Volume (it's good, but a slow read), so perhaps they go into detail later.
-
But if we take the characters as Cis, then the only GL is in VR between their avatars, and the romantic genre in reality is actually BL.
-
And we DO see sex (in VR, w/ the avatars), although it's not explicit or porn-y; we technically get a full-frontal, but there are no naughty bits actually shown.
-
Personally, I found it tastefully done.

-
Overall, a very nice read. My ADHD hasn't let me get back to this to finish yet, but I have no regrets about buying it.
