Back at work, Huck finds himself in the company of a lot of other people, and he wonders when he'll see his old friend. He's glad to see her, because she's pretty, and her daughter is already four years old. Huck tells his friend that he hates having too many things in his life, and that when he travels, he encounters unexpected things that make him feel better. It's his lucky charm, he says, because whenever he experiences a crisis, he looks in the mirror and feels better. Huck says that he's always prepared for crises, because crises are inevitable, but he also knows that he can help his friend. Huck asks if his friend is okay, and Huck tells him that he heard that there were six grooms, but that she flirted with two of them for three days, so there were only two grooms. Huck is relieved, because there's nothing like a ruined life. Huck makes up his own schedule to meet his first love on June 3rd at 5:00 p.m.
