In this chapter, we learn that the orc is a pig-like creature that preys on women and children. We learn that alicia is trying to find a way to get rid of the orcs, but that they're trying to eat her. She's afraid that she's going to be eaten alive, so she runs off to get help. The two of them try to figure out how to get out of the pig's lair, but they can't figure out where to go. They're afraid that the pigs are going to attack them, so they run off to try to get away. They don't even know where to find the vent where they can fit in, so alicia runs off and tries to get some help, but the pigs won't let her in. They run off, but not before they realize that the vent is too narrow for them to fit through. They try to jump off the vent, but it's not going to help them. They jump off again, but this time, the pigs jump on them instead. The pigs are so scared of the humans that they run away, but alicia doesn't know what to do. She and the pig jump off, and the pigs run off again.
