About This Chapter
Yonada asks Hayato not to fight Kiyoshi because he thinks that Kiyoshi is a victim of Yonada's father. He tells Yonada that he is not a victim, but a fighter who has been humbled by Yonada. Yonada tells him not to worry, because Kiyoshi will come looking for him. Hayato says that he does not want to talk about Kiyoshi, but Yonada wants to know what Yonada is talking about. He asks Yonada to tell him about his father's problems during the war, and Yonada replies that he did not want Yonada anywhere near him. He says that Yonada did not seem interested in having him to himself after Yonada left. He adds that he noticed that the baby was born in July, but that they did not travel to the island until February. He feels sorry for Yonada, who did not deserve to be separated from his son. He also says that even though Yonada has some magic power, he cannot beat him in battle.
